Our experience in design spans over 30 years, across interior, product design, styling and buying. Our mandate when we approach any project is to design for longevity not fashion. Every scheme we have completed has been a labour of love. Over the years we have turned cow sheds into cooking schools, converted disused out-buildings into desirable residential spaces, created a cabin in the woods to use as a retreat, designed many a kitchen, and increased the value and desirability of our clients’ homes.
For us interior design is about so much more than choosing furniture. Good design is always about more than the way things look, although it’s important, it’s about making sure the human experience, happiness and well being is prioritised. It is about a unique essence and making life better inside the buildings that we live in.
We are keenly aware of the impact that production has on both people and the planet; sustainability has rightly become an integral part of our design process. Wherever we can we use natural materials; supple linens, organic cotton denims, British-spun wools, recycled cashmere yarns – and collaborate with fair trade cooperatives to create unique pieces for our projects.
By supporting masters of their craft, and hunting down the best built-to-last vintage items and one-off designs, we deliver to you those statement pieces that will become the talking points of your home, and a life-long love affair for you.
We are happy to consider any project; residential, commercial or retail, whatever the scale or challenge. We also offer an ‘ideas day’; a chance to access our design and sourcing expertise and to provide suggestions, possibilities, inspiration and suppliers.
